Frostbite Fun and New Indoor Venue

Sat 27 Dec started chilly, clear and with 7 bosses out on Wicken Field for the annual Frostbite competition. The morning was thoroughly enjoyed by new and more experienced members – our club secretary even posted a new club record!

Indoor Venue Move

Unfortunately, due to unforeseen circumstances we are moving venue for the remainder of the indoor season. From 4 Jan 2026 we will move to a sports dome on the Akeley Wood Sixth Form site (Tile House Mansion – MK18 5AN).

Timings remain unchanged: Sunday 10-12 noon and Monday 7-9pm.

Indoor season is in full swing – Sunday mornings and Monday evenings. Plenty of work on form and bow tuning … some of our archers don’t even bother with fletches …

For anyone wondering about Beginners’ Courses – we only run our courses during the outdoor season, and will start to line up a schedule early in the new year when the local competition calendar is firmed up. If you’re interested, drop us a line via the Beginners’ Course page and we’ll get back to you when we announce dates.

We haven’t forgotten about our 2025 dates (pencils are being sharpened and calendars consulted). First course probably in April.
